Welcome to Marmalade and Tea, the coffee shop and deli in Borrowash, Derbyshire.
As well as fabulous coffee and a great range of teas, milkshakes and hot chocolates with or without the trimmings, we do cold drinks, sandwiches, toasties, panini, baked spuds and soups to eat in or take away.
- and we like to get fresh! What you’ll always get from us is great quality, fresh ingredients and service that’s second to none.
You’ll find that our lovely shop is a great place to while away the time, whether it’s reading the papers, surfing the Net on your laptop or notebook (we have free WiFi) or just sitting in the window and watching the world go by.
Our cupcakes are baked fresh on the premises every day – and we hope you enjoy eating them as much as we enjoy making them! We want to give you an alternative to mass-produced supermarket cupcakes, and bring home baking back to the High Street. We don’t only do cupcakes, though – we also have scones, flapjacks, custards and lots of other yummy delights, including gluten free options - just come in and see what’s on the counter.
We also serve afternoon tea - how very civilised! Open sandwiches, plus cupcakes or scones with jam and cream, all served on a tiered cake stand with a pot of tea for two.
Visit our deli shelves for yummy sweets and chocolates to take home, plus extra special teas and coffees and gorgeous jams, marmalades (of course!) and chutneys.
If you’re a member of a community group, or if you want to use our space for evening meetings or events, just let us know – we’re happy for you to have the space for free, subject to a small minimum food and drink order.
